Ingredients:
- 1 cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup unbleached, all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Pinch of freshly ground pepper
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup softened butter
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup chopped dark chocolate
- ¼ cup melted white chocolate (for drizzling)
Directions:
- Preheat over to 350 degrees F
- Sift together flour, cinnamon, cocoa, cayenne, baking powder, pepper, and salt
- Cream eggs and sugar until light and fluffy
- Add butter and vanilla extract to the egg mixture until well combined
- Add flour mixture to egg mixture and mix until well combined
- Incorporate chopped dark chocolate pieces.
- Drop a level tablespoon of batter onto a parchment lined cookie sheet about 2 inches apart
- Bake for 9-11 minutes
- Cool completely before drizzling with white chocolate
